My Favourite Numbers

100
I like the number 100 because in most people's childhoods it was a huge number. Probably the biggest number a 3 year old could think of. 100 is also the sum of the first 9 prime numbers. (2+3+5+7+11+13+17+19+23) which is pretty damn cool. There are also exactly 100 prime numbers which have their digit in ascending order (eg 239).

64

One of my favourite square numbers, 64 is defiantly in my top 5. There are also a number of other reasons for 64 being one of the best numbers. These include: The maximum size of a stack in MineCraft, there are 64 squares on a chess board and, of course, it's appearance in the Nintendo 64 name and a few of the games released for the console.

Being a prime number, 11 is immediately in my top 5. when multiplied with a single digit number, the number gets repeated twice. (eg 3 x 11 = 33). Apollo 11 carried Neil Armstrong to the moon, it is the number of players on a football pitch and the atomic number of Sodium, my favourite metal!

Tau

For those who don't know the value of Tau it is literally 2 time pi. (6.2832) I prefer Tau to Pi because instead of a full circle being 2Pi radians, instead it is Tau radians, making it easier to split up. All in all Tau sound better than Pi. It just does. XD

My favourite number! 4 has long been my favourite number for a variety of reasons! 2 x 2 = 4 and 2 + 2 = 4! The only number, apart from 0, that does this. 4 is also the only number that contains the same amount of letters as its value (F-o-u-r).
