The Nokia Lumia: Is It Worth It?

The Nokia Lumia 520 is entry-level smart phone that was first announced by Nokia in 2013 at Mobile World Congress. The phone runs on Windows Phone 8 and in September 2013 it became the best seling Windows device of all time, better than any kind of tablet or PC that windows had released. The Lumia 520 has played a huge part in the history of both Nokia and Windows after having more than 12 million activations.

I have personally had the Lumia 520 for almost a year now and to tell te truth I have never been more happy with a phone. To start with the display is beautiful. It is amazingly vibrant and sharp. The scolling of web pages is insanely smooth and easy on the eye. There is a huge amount of personalisation available, being able to cange colour themes and screensavers. Now I know that Windows 8 has a bad reputation for an operating system but it works wonders on a handheld device. the interface of the phone isso easy to navigate, a great phone for both new and old smartphone users.

Despite he positives the windows pphone does lack in a few places. Most notably the app store. The store has very few well-known apps and games. There is no official YouTube app anwhere on the app store, just improvised versions. This could be a problem for the app-addicted user. It isn't as bad as you may think though, believe me!

All-in-all the Lumia 520 is a far above average smartphone and priced extremly cheaper than what it's worth. I reccommend this smartphone to almost anyone. Hope you enjoyed!
